The Religious Education Resources Project

The Religious Education Resources Project began in September 2002 as an initiative by the Revd. Keith Underhill and the Methodist Church to support the growing requests from schools for assistance with Christian RE. The Project has successfully worked with 29 primary schools in Redbridge to provide lessons, assemblies, Godly Play, Church visits and other activities.  It is a free resource for Redbridge schools and aims, from a Christian perspective, to support teachers as they deliver the RE curriculum and to provide them with additional resources to enrich learning.

Work of the RERP is funded by the Barking, Dagenham and Ilford Methodist Church Circuit and a grant from the Methodist Church London District. One key worker is employed, Carol Dawson, who is supported by a Management Committee made up of members and clergy from the Circuit. Annual Reports are available on request. Find out how you can support the Project and allow its work to continue in local schools by clicking on 'Support us'.
